In this video I'm talking about an interesting problem: getting promoted too early. I don't think this is a particularly common issue, but it's a one which can have some pretty bad consequences. In the video I'm talking about: why companies might promote their employees too early, what are possible consequences and what to do if you believe that you're not ready for your current role yet.
I believe that this problem specifically affects later stages of career, from lead developer (maybe senior?) onwards, and particularly affects transition from individual contributor to leadership roles.
